Friday, August 8: D.Tox Day 1

This morning I weighed in after my training session to get my starting weight and body fat percentage to use as a starting point.  

My biggest fear with this program is the shakes -- I have never ever liked shakes, and it has taken me a long time to even like a smoothie with protein in it!  So having to make these shakes (with no orange juice!) - yikes.

I came home from my training session and made my shake with:
2 scoops 
2 scoops of fiber stuff
6 oz. water
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
frozen strawberries/blueberries/raspberries/blackberries (mix from Trader Joes)
3 ice cubes

Blended it all up...and it just doesn't taste good at all.  I ended up drinking all but about an inch in the bottom of my glass, but it took almost two hours.  I just couldn't make myself drink that last inch no matter what I did.  I hope the afternoon will be better...I will try with just pineapple and strawberries, and skip the almond milk...
